Muro
Account and billing

Your account

Change your display name, reset your password, sign out, and delete your account or cancel a deletion.

Your account holds your profile, sign-in details and plan, separate from any one project. Open it from the user menu in the top right → Account.

Display name

Under Profile, edit Display name and click Save. Muro uses this name to greet you in its emails, and when someone shares a project with you, they see it next to your email in their member list.

Change your email

Email on the Account page is read-only. To change the email on your account, write to support@muroanalytics.com from your current address and tell us the new one.

Your account email is where Muro sends your daily digest, alerts and billing emails.

Reset your password

You can't change your password from inside the dashboard. Use the reset flow instead, which works whether or not you remember the old one.

Sign out, then on the sign-in page click Forgot password?. Enter your email and click Send reset link. You'll see "Check your inbox — if your email is registered, a reset link is on its way."

Open the email

Look for "Reset your Muro Analytics password" and click the link. It's valid for 1 hour.

Set a new password

Enter a New password of at least 8 characters, repeat it in Confirm password, and click Set new password.

You're taken back to the sign-in page. Sign in with your new password.

If you see "This reset link is invalid or has expired.", click Request a new reset link and start again.

Your plan

The Plan card shows your current plan as a badge (for example trial, starter or team). Click Billing → to manage it. See Plans and the free trial.

Sign out

Click Sign out on the Account page, or in the user menu. You're returned to the sign-in page. Sign-ins last 7 days, after which Muro asks you to sign in again.

Delete your account

Deleting your account removes all your projects and their data for good.

Open the danger zone

On the Account page, scroll to Danger zone and click Delete account.

Confirm with your email

Type your account email exactly as shown, then click Delete my account. You're signed out.

Check your inbox

You get an email titled "Your Muro Analytics account is scheduled for deletion", with the date your data will be removed.

What happens next:

  • Your data is purged within 30 days. After that, everything in your account is deleted permanently, and you get a final email confirming it.
  • Any paid subscription is cancelled when you request deletion.
  • A connected Shopify store is disconnected when the account is purged.

Deleting your account removes the projects you own, including any projects you've shared with teammates. They lose access too.

Changed your mind?

Sign back in before the deletion date. The deletion is cancelled automatically and you get an email titled "Your account deletion has been cancelled". Your projects and data are intact.

Your paid subscription was cancelled when you asked for deletion, so check Billing after signing back in. You may need to subscribe again.
